I see a far greater problem than the biological CCP Wuhan Pandemic that the Church is suffering from – the pandemic death of spiritual deception of the highest order!

I truly recognize the numerous external pressures unleashed against the Church by liberals, leftists, socialists, communists, and secular governments; however, this death of spiritual deception comes from the principalities and powers within the Church! Yes, you read that right.

We presently have some pastors who are leading the sheep to the wolves! Now, some reading this may view me as a rigid fundamentalist, zealot, or bigot. Please know that I am coming from a biblical view - not a political view.

This internal pandemic contamination is being poured out and spread by church leaders who are drinking three demonic poisons:

The poison of cultural wokeness.
The extra-biblical false doctrine of love.
The destructive theology of Universalism.

The Church is under siege at a doctrinal level by some so-called evangelical and charismatic leaders who are attempting to reframe scriptures to fit their new convoluted wokeyism. These wokey church leaders are leading their followers into doctrinal error and even weakening their faith! “Woe! Be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! Saith the Lord”! (Jeremiah 23:1).

My friend Jim Garlow, whom I highly respect, calls it “Biblical Applicationalism,” which he identifies as having a practical understanding in applying scriptural solutions to today’s challenging social and political problems. I highly agree with Garlow who wrote the excellent book, Well Versed Biblical Answers to Today’s Tough Issues.

Many within academia, the media, and political principalities exercise their liberal, leftist propaganda using ‘Bible speak’ just as Satan did to Jesus after fasting for 40 days in the desert. For every ‘biblical’ convoluted mixed statement, Jesus countered Satan with, “The Scriptures say”… This is “Biblical Applicationalism”!

Why is Scripture so important? Because the Word of God has the answers to life’s problems. And not accurately using the Word - or contaminating it with the poisons of wokeyness, false doctrine, and Universalism - will defeat Christians, not protect them.

Satan is perverting Scripture today more than ever with statements like: God Is love, for the love of God, God loves everyone, etc. He uses these words to distort God’s intent for pure marriage love to be strictly between a male and a female. God never created or intended other gender options that we hear about today. It’s just one of the baits Satan is using to hijack the faith of some believers and supported by many once spiritual but now more secular church leaders.

Many who were once scriptural and spiritually-based church leaders, are now more secular-based wokey church leaders who have fallen into twisting scripture. They have allowed themselves to validate the immoral practices that the liberals and leftists are using to progressively infect Christianity.

What can we do about it?

We must believe the Word of God as the answer for all of life’s problems.
We must love and obey God by believing His Word is inerrant and infallible.
We must learn how the Word is a two- edged sword, the logos and rhema, for combating Satan and his legions of antichrist minions.
We should pray passionately and without ceasing.
