Discovering Biblical Applicationalism!
Every shepherd of the flock of God must believe the Word of God is actually the Word of God!
It is a holy book because it is the infallible and inerrant Word from God. It speaks to every issue of life, and to all powers and principalities in heavenly and earthly places. Especially regarding laws and legislation.
The Word of God is filled with very direct or indirect scriptures or an Old or New Testament story or parable addressing legislation or laws. It speaks to all structured hierarchies and governments in heaven and earth as Isaiah 9:6 says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Every principle and every issue concerning earthly governments and their politicians is stated in the Word.
Every law enacted by those in governmental political jurisdictions is either:
moral or immoral
righteous or unrighteous
just or unjust
Therefore, Shepherds should not speak politically from the pulpit but speak biblically regarding government and politics.
