6 Questions to Ask Yourself When Experiencing Failure

I have faced the challenges of tough and turbulent times as both a man of NO faith and a man OF faith.  I have succeeded and failed in both phases of my life; however, looking back, I see my failures as my greatest learning experiences!

I learned to ask myself six questions when experiencing failure:

1.       Was there a grain of truth in the failure?

2.       Was I avoiding the reality of the situation?

3.       Was I responsible for the failure?

4.       Was I seeing with a carnal rather than a spiritual perspective?

5.       Did I minimize the problem and underestimate the challenge?

6.       Do I need to apologize to someone for what I said or did?

Then, when I know I did wrong, I need to:

·         Ask God for forgiveness and forgive myself.

·         Ask whoever I offended to forgive me.

·         Make restitution if needed.

·         Learn from the failure and avoid repeating it!

This is how I learned to succeed from failure!
