Respect is Earned!
Respect for fivefold ministries comes not from titles or positions but from how strong they stand and lead through chaos, crisis, and conflicts!
“Don't lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example” (1Pe 5:3).
2. Respect comes from developing those you are mentoring, disciplining or fathering into proper alignment with their gifting, ministry, and leadership. And - when they successfully fulfill their God-given assignment!
"Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord's work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance. Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work" 1 Thes. 5:12-13
3. Respect from others comes from the inner motivation to do what is always best for those you are leading.
“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself” (Phil 2:3).
