Five Keys for leadership success!

Learning to be a Godly leader is a process that only succeeds if we apply a ‘key’ principle – learning to lead ourselves!

That means you hold yourself to higher standards than you do to others.

King David said, “Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart” (Psalm 26:2).

I often pray and meditate on some of, or all, of the following principles because I am still fallible after nearly 50 years of ministry!

Here are 5 Key examinations for every leader – especially Fivefold Ministry Leaders:

1. Judge yourself. Be ruthless in your evaluation of your strengths and weaknesses.
2. Ask those you trust what they view as your strengths and weaknesses.
3. Seek accountability. I have five apostles I’m accountable to.
4. Develop self-discipline. We want to conquer the world when we haven’t conquered ourselves yet. Not wise!
5. Be humble and give God and others credit for all achievements.

I have never accomplished anything in ministry without these five keys. They are ‘key’ to fulfilling my vision and mission mandate.

I pray they are also keys for your leadership life!
